It’s the Miranda Rights of the internet! (Which I came up with in the shower, because I’m just that awesome)

You have the right to not put anything on the internet if you don’t want to, however, anything you do say can and will be quoted whenever another person on the internet sees fit and it will be used in a trial where we determine whether you’re an idiot or not.

You have the right to defend yourself but it may harm your credibilty if you do not mention in your original post something which you later rely on to make yourself look better.

You have the right to threaten people with an attorney, but unless they are actually doing something illegal it won’t help much, and will only make you look like an idiot.

This is the 100th post in my blog, since I started using wordpress!

It’s a little unfortunate that it took me this long to actually get to 100, but I hope to have a lot more before my domain’s 3rd birthday in September

Real posts will continue tomorrow. Tonight I have to make icky graphs for my stupid project. (Actually I’m abandoning the graphs. They suck, and I can’t figure them out. My teacher will have to do with what we’ve got so far)

What with me being all emo lately, I have completely run out of ideas for my blog. Fortunately I’m going on a physics fieldtrip tomorrow If I remember to take my camera, I will take some pictures.

So basically, I’m just blogging to let you know I have nothing to blog about. XD Crazy, huh?

This is what I spent most of Friday afternoon doing:

We beamed it on the wall again (like we did with the heads), and now that it’s dry it looks even better!

I recently (yesterday) rewrote my about page, and I’m quite pleased with it. I will probably change things over time, and so I have decided to save all my old about pages for posterity. Which in myh case probably means ‘for the sake of keeping all of my blog entries understandable’.

Seeing as how I’ll graduate in about five months, it’ll probably have to change around then, and then all the info about me  as person now will be lost, so I will save all of the big changes to my about page. Definitely not the little ones, like for instance fixing a typo, or changing your age xD.

I think everybody should do this, especially once they’ve written a completely new one, if you do that every now and again that is, because it helps put some of your older blog entries into perspective for people who are catching up on your life as it were.

(All this saving of about pages is obviously only relevant if you believe that people are actually interested enough in you to read your archives, and I hope some people are interested enough in me. Otherwise this is a bit of a moot point).

Anyway, if you have anything you’d like me to add to my about page, or if you have any other suggestions, please feel free to let me know here, because I disabled the comments on my about page.

Remember last years New Year Resolution? Yeah. That didn’t happen.

I had a lot to deal with this last year, so I didn’t blog much, but to be honest I hardly remember what happened xD. I went to Rome ofcourse, and I went on holiday. I graduated fifth grade without fail grades.

After that things get kind of hazy. Ofcourse I had summer holidays and I went to Germany and Denmark. I saw Wild Child in the theatre for my birthday, and I had a very stressful autumn dealing with the project that I have come to hate.

In balance I think the year was a slightly more bad than good. But it was an okay-ish year. See ya in the next one!

…For a while at least. My project is not going well, and I am extremely busy. I hardly understand a word my chemistry teacher says these days, and the same goes for my maths teacher..

So whilst I try really hard to not flip out and smack someone, and get enough sleep, please bare with me!

I have always been rather sensitive to accents and pronunciation of words. From a very early age, when I went to play at a friends house I always came back speaking with a soft ‘g’. Something that is always attributed to the southern part of the country.
My dad always hated it. He’s not very keen on accents either.

Due to this, I usually have very bad impressions of people whos accent I don’t like. This often not a problem, since the most different accents I encounter are on the television, and I’m free to dislike those people as much as I want. ( )

The thing about this accent thing though, is that with people I have known for a very long time it sometimes gets in the way. I get annoyed with them for no other reason than listening to their pronunciation. This in turn will affect the impression with that person for at least the endurance of that conversation.

Since I base many of my first impressions on peoples voices, I’d love to know what you think about mine.  (These voices clips were originally posted at Snark, the words were words that people thought might be difficult to pronounce. The second clip is a list of Dutch names of streets and cities, as well as some random words.)
