I have learned two things today:
1. Turns out little sisters are good for something! For instance when your moustache needs plucking, and you don’t want to do it yourself.
2. Making sorbet without an ice-cream maker is a rather annoying and tedious process. Note to Jamie Oliver: a couple of hours means TWO, not SIX and up.

@Caity and Damita: After having spent a night in the freezer it was quite good, though nothing like I was expecting
It was a pear sorbet, with really juicy, soft, sweet pears, so flavour was pretty much a guarantee. 
I didn’t know it was possible to make sorbet without an ice cream maker! Now I feel rather inspired
